This adorable kitchen is great for clients that only need to prep or make products that don't require cooking. It has a more temperature stable environment.
The Health Department of the County of Riverside requires each individual to obtain certain permits and certificates prior to using The Kitchen Station LLC. These are explained below. These are all required before the first use of the facility. These will be kept on file at all times at the facility.
Liability insurance of $1M with “The Kitchen Station LLC” listed as the name additionally insured. We have a working relationship with insurance companies.
Food Managers Certificate- this is required by the County Riverside for Catering food businesses. There are courses offered throughout the County. One individual per company is required to obtain one.
Food Handler’s Safety Card- this is required by the County of Riverside for anyone handling food. Watch the Riverside County Environmental Health Dept website’s Training Video. Take the Exam at any area office. The cost is $20.
A money order made out to TKS for $300 for issues regarding non-use, non-payment, additional cleaning, etc.
A Catering License is required for all Catering businesses. Bakers and food artisans will need an Artisan Permit. The Health inspector will issue these.
State PFR (Processed Food Registration) is required for certain food items that are pre-packaged, going to be sold in stores, or shipped across State lines.
